CHANGING WHERE AND HOW WE WORK

December 2022 marked the shift to our new Head Office, a powerful new platform from which to shape our future. It heralds the acceleration of a transformation that is reaching every part of Oneness Group.

A shift to a new stage, and a new workstyle with the launch of a new Head Office that supports each of our goals as business challengers.

Our business has a core function to focus on building the future through research and development. Through R&D, we can design new products and improve their existing offerings and contribute to the long-term profitability of the company We have realised that Companies that set up and employ entire R&D departments commit substantial capital to the effort. They must estimate the risk-adjusted return on their R&D expenditures—which inevitably involves risk of capital—because there is no immediate payoff, and the return on investment (ROI) is uncertain. As more money is invested in R&D, the level of capital risk increases. As such we have chosen to set up a special division that allows companies to outsource their R&D to our R&D department. We now conduct R&D for several hundred SME’s who would not normally be able to do this on their own. As we don’t do this in sectors we operate we believe that there is no long term conflict of interest.

We help clients Agree on the key goals of supply chain optimisation, whether that be increased forecasting accuracy to prevent production outages, a reduction in working capital tied up in inventory, improved reliability of supply, or something completely unique to our client’s situation.

Collect detailed data for modelling on locations, inventory, and associated costs, e.g. penalties on stock-outs.

Build a detailed flow model for inbound and outbound primary and secondary supply chains using a supply chain simulation tool, from which we can form prioritised savings hypotheses.
